ISOC Ghana has the following Projects it plans to implement:

ghNOG and AfNOG E0 Localization Project
In collaboration with other ICT stakeholders, ISOC Ghana is planning a capacity building program for the ICT industry and academia. The maiden edition of the program will come off at University of Cape Coast in January 2009. The program will be organized twice a week. The program will consist of a one week workshop and a half day ICT stakeholders meeting

 

Internet Governance Outreach
ISOC Ghana has started an Outreach program on Internet Governance. This outreach is to bring the debate to the grassroots and in tern channel view of the grassroots in a bottom up approach.  So far, the first outreach program has taken off in Kumasi in Marcch, 2008 and had over 120 people participating. The next program will be in Accra in August, 2008. The program will be run in all other regional capitals over the coming months.

 

Nii Quaynor lectures on Internet Governance
As part of its activities to honor Prof. Nii Quaynor, the 2008 Jon Postel Honoree and the first African to do so, Internet Society Ghana Chapter has instituted an annual lecture series on Internet Governance in his honor. The maiden edition of the program will be held in August this year.  Prof. Quaynor will deliver the first lecture this year. However, in subsequent years, distinguished ICT personels around Africa will be invited to deliver the lecture.
